I like this game. I wish there were extensions!

I would like to clarify a couple of things:

1) Is there a max number you can reach? I've never got higher than 8 afaik though.

2) Do the drop rates increase over time?

3) Can you only pick up blocks horizontal to the character?

WISHLIST: I would love a version with a larger play area but don't want the blocks to be any smaller. A version where once the blocks reach a number they disappear. A level mode (or vs mode like Puyo Puyo). A mode where drop rates don't increase so I can see how far I can get on my own skill). A mode where you don't get crushed (or as easily).

I haven't got any gray blocks, so I can't comment on those.

Thanks for playing!

1) Yes, the max number on a block is 10 (once your merge two 9s, they turn into a 10 and disappear shortly after).

2) The time between new blocks decreases over time, but the max speed is one block every 1.4 seconds. Coupled with the fact that you can merge blocks until they disappear, theoretically you can get infinite points. :)

3) Yes, you can only pick up blocks that are in the indicator next to your character.

The gray blocks are just regular blocks and now have the number 1 on them, the screenshots are outdated.

One more wishlist item: I would prefer it if you could stack to the ceiling and only get a game over if a block tries and fails to stack on top of it.

Made an account just to say I love this game!!! Would especially love it if there was a difficulty setting. I like playing it faster paced, but it could be really relaxing if there was a slower zen mode.

Cute game :) being inside the falling-blocks is always a fun idea. It feels like both the movement and the speed of falling blocks could be increased a bit to give the game a more frantic/action feel. It was interesting to realize that once I'd let a solid layer form beneath me, I couldn't move those blocks anymore. Nice work!

Really quick and easy to pickup.

this is really dope. I just found out about the Jam and lvoe this one!

Probably one of my favorite games to come out of a jam. Super clean, addicting, and overall quite polished. My current high score is 3520. Very curious to see if I can make it to 4000.

I managed to get some sort of bug to occur where I fell into a block and could not longer move. It seemed to happen as I was getting pinched between two blocks (one above and one below).

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

That bug is known, I did apply a fix for it but apparently that wasn't enough. :D

Hey, I PMed you on Reddit. I have some ideas for the game. If you don't want to work on it anymore, I would be happy to take over. I don't care to publish anything, I would give it back to you

Hi y'all.  I am the one who was logging their progress in a comment chain here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WebGames/comments/wxr779/super_stack_house_great_game_m...

Did you two end up collaborating?

Hi! Responded to you on Reddit as well, but for got to say - no, we didn't end up collaborating :)

Hey, my wife and I are still playing the first version of this. I still would like the source code to play around with. We want to try it with a couple changes/added parameters like field height/width, jump height, rate of speed increase. You can retain all rights and any changes I might make; I would sign something stating so
